In 1989, AVC was established by Arnold Vanhee and distinguishes itself by an innovative approach ever since.
At the beginning, the main activity was concentrated on steel products (like cabins, steel constructions and implements for building). Later on working in aluminium with gradual evolution towards verandas, conservatories, extensions and professional metal work.
Nowadays the trademarks 'Steel design' and 'Aluconcept' cover the steel products and metal work departments.
During the mid nineties, knowledge, skills and experience resulted in the creation of the first 'design' products. Artist, founder and designer Arnold Vanhee designed a self-supporting staircase (patented), awarded with the Eureka Price for Best Invention as recognition (1997).
2. AVC Group
In 2003 AVC Group was founded. Bernard Lootens, Dominiek Callewier and Theo De Beir took over the company, with Dominiek Callewier as Managing Director.
Gradually , the range of innovative applications and products broadened : new models of staircases, but also wall- and doorsystems. Functionality and contemporary design are combined to create the existing magnificent range of design products.
In recent times young and dynamic forces have forced AVC Group to manage the growing organisation and to develop the international network. (link naar dealerspagina).
